The President mentioned the importance of continued meetings with the head of state of the DPRK and these meetings moved the peninsula away from the threat of war and into a new peace regime. Day 1’s current schedule appears to be a combination of high-level talks, and majorly symbolic art performances. The days which follow are likely to be primarily lower-level talks and the preparation of a joint statement likely to be released on Thursday.
